The I Can Project
The I Can Project is a service for people of all ages who experience deafness and hearing loss. It is delivered by the Deafness Resource Centre and works across Merseyside to support families from the point of diagnosis and throughout their journey.
The project offers impartial information and guidance, as well as a variety of fun and engaging activities for children and young people. These activities can help to increase confidence and motivation and provide opportunities to meet new people and engage with peers.
The I Can Project also provides support for the whole family, with activities such as family sign sessions, social groups, and Happy Hands, a family support group for children under ten years old and their carers.
